Cyclura nubila nubila
There are moments when the photo just screams at you how much it would like to be in black and white. For photography of nature and animals, black and white is not the best solution, but if ... If I need to emphasize the structure and enhance the play of light, black and white processing is the best option. I definitely won't go for it when processing photos of a kingfisher, but it is an absolutely ideal choice for animals that are almost monotonously colored. The game of colors stops distracting you and allows you to focus on the most important things: on the complex structure and diversity of the skin, as you can see on this lizard, significantly enhanced by strong contrast and spotlight.
